Neville joined Camp Simcha in January 2005, with substantial experience gained over 20 years working with children and young people in a variety of Jewish communal settings, as well as a Master’s Degree in Management Practice from Middlesex University. He has guided Camp Simcha from its founders’ kitchen table to where it is today, a national charity making a vital difference to thousands of seriously ill children and their families throughout the UK. Neville’s whole family is dedicated to Jewish communal service: presently his son Adam and daughter-in-law Tammy learn and teach in Jerusalem and his daughter Leah teaches in a Jewish primary school in North West London.
Daniel joined Camp Simcha in September 2010 following a number of years working in the youth movement Bnei Akiva. Daniel enjoys working for a charity that makes a real difference to individuals lives through our tailored support. Together with a dedicated team, he has expanded the services Camp Simcha offers ensuring that new services are always solid in foundation, impactful and sustainable.
Rachely started Camp Simcha from her kitchen table in Golders Green aged just 17. Over nearly twenty five years, she and her husband Meir have grown the charity from an idea to a constantly growing reality. Rachely now heads up our team of Family Liaison Officers.
Melissa earned her Corporate Communications degree and Post Graduate Business Management Diploma in South Africa at a leading Johannesburg University and Business School. She started her career in Learning & Development and the Corporate Training industry and has currently been involved in the third sector for close to 15 years. Melissa joined Camp Simcha in 2006. She has held various positions ranging from, MIS and Database Logistics, and Head of Fundraising to her current role as Head of Operations. Melissa is passionate about making a difference to the lives of families within the community and is dedicated to the fulfilment of Camp Simcha’s values, mission and vision.
Emma began working with Camp Simcha in 2012, managing their PR, before taking on the role as Head of Marketing and Comms in 2020. With over 25 years’ experience as a journalist, working for national and consumer press, Emma has focused the last 10 years consulting on PR and communications in the charity and NFP sector, working for an extensive range of clients in the Jewish and wider community.
Jenny leads the Finance function in the Camp Simcha team. With strong financial management experience, Chartered Accountant, Jenny decided to make the move into the Third Sector in 2016. She is dedicated to Camp Simcha and loves contributing at a strategic level to such a beautiful charity that has the strength of family at its core. Her early career includes Auditing at PwC, Corporate Finance at ABG Corporate Finance and Livingstone Partners, and Financial Control at Investec Bank and International Port Holdings.
Shoshana joined Camp Simcha in 2019 and has had a career working in Fundraising and Events in the Jewish Community for the last 20 years. Shoshana worked at UJIA for 16 years in a variety of roles in the fundraising team, including Events Manager and Head of Community Fundraising. She then went on to work at the Holocaust Educational Trust as their Director of Fundraising where she helped grow income for the charity over 3 years.
